Gabriel Helou is a fine art photographer, inspired by the beauty and rich culture of his home City – Jerusalem. His love for photography has developed from a young age, roaming the cobblestone-lined streets of the Old City of Jerusalem. Being attentive to surroundings and subject matter is where admirable photography begins. Whilst holding two degrees in law, Gabriel’s passion for photography only grew stronger. In 2015, he started as a self-taught photographer, living in Jerusalem, with all its significant sites and landmarks, have motivated him to develop his creative photographic skills. Gabriel has a particular passion for landscape and cityscape photography where creating attractive compositions requires taking time to bring out the invisible beauty to the ordinary eyes. His photographs capture moments of time into work of art. Gabriel searches for what interconnects a message to viewers to ponder on while reflecting his identifiable artistic style. He enjoys creating work both; in colour and black & white. He also loves traveling to discover new places and landmarks. Enriching his experience, Gabriel has enrolled in photography courses and through Serge Ramelli Institute of Photography, as well, was offered tutoring at the hands of top professional photographers. Gabriel has been selected as a participant artist in Florence biennale 2023.“To me, photography is about feelings where I convey mine without words. As well, it's about discovery of interesting things in life; historical places and beauty of nature to share with those who appreciate them.
